Is this an Intolerable Government of Tyranny?
Earlier in the month, I wrote an open letter to the governor of Ogun state: http://toyosicraig.blogspot.com/2014/08/toyosi-craig-open-letter-to-gov-amosun.html
Now as if I am a sage.. things just fell in that line...today I wish to state that there is no justification by Ogun state government to close OOU ... It is just like saying the Massachusetts Government closes University of Boston or Government of California closing Caltech ..It can never happen.. we cannot be so shallow minded to accept those feeble excuses presented by governor Amosun.. wait sef.. what do these people take us for...em em 9 students se kinikan.. some students se kinikan.. how can few student threaten the security of the state with the "so called equipped" Police force in Ogun.. and how can students whose faces are known be preparing to cause trouble..shame.. in order to cover up the brutal attack on those students and expose the culprits that impersonated the OOU excos, the government decided to close the school.. and also use "Argumentum ad Baculum + Argumentum ad Hominem that move of all.. is the weakest.. "protecting your pawn with a knight... so the parents will have to tell their children not to join the struggle..we read these guys comments here and there and we know the are just doing as any of us would have done while in school...they are just fighting for their rights... Only in Nigeria do students beg government for fees reduction and not for bursaries or grants.. at this stage if Amosun really wants to rebuild the state he is just getting to miss it and this one act will go down in history as an intolerable government of tyranny.. Good roads will bring companies but these companies will not employ fresh graduate that are above 25 years old after NYSC...am sure most won't be from a school closed down because students had a sane deal with the government calling on him to make necessary consultations and decisions and the government on the on the note used its veto power.. OOU are in 2013/2014 session as at August 2014.. Isn't that shameful enough..and Democracy is democracy.. we have seen people who were loved a moment ago hated with so much passion the next dawn.. I say again.. If SIA is not adamant and autocratic in nature.. then he should check his advisers because as for me.. he is sitting on a mat laid on an endless dungeon.."a o mu erin joba".. I say again.. do not work into simple trap.. AAAMOSUN..
